Olympian Gymnastics are looking to hire enthusiastic gymnastics coaches of all levels to join our team in all locations: Templeogue, Knocklyon, Milltown, Ballinteer and Greenhills.

We are seeking those who are passionate about teaching the next generation and helping others achieve their goals.

 

Qualifications and Experience (all applicants):

  • Enthusiastic, dependable, positive and coachable.
  • Great communication skills with children and adults.
  • Ability to work well with any age from early walkers to adults
  • Ability to follow lesson plans and to be able to adjust as needed.
  • Preparation of lesson plans and routines for classes.
  • Must be able to lift equipment and spot gymnasts.

 

Coach Qualifications:

  • Prior coaching experience – at least 1 year.
  • Basic knowledge and/or experience.
  • Develop positive relationships with gymnasts, and provide motivational support and guidance.

 

Senior Coach Qualifications:

  • Prior coaching experience – at least 2 year.
  • (or) Management & Supervision experience – at least 2 years
  • Good knowledge and/or experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate good leadership skills.
  • Be able to provide motivational support and guidance to other coaches.

 

If you are not a qualified gymnastics coach, we have a paid in-house training programme for apprentice coaches, which will help you develop the required skills to teach beginner level gymnastics classes. The training programme does not stop there as it goes further to progress your skills-knowledge and move up the ranks.

All applicants must be vetted by the company through it’s partnership with Irish Vetting Services. And we also arrange Safeguarding and First Aid courses for all our coaching staff each year.


Two New Positions in our Greenhills venue:

  • Part-time Assistant Manager (Average of 20 hours a week)
  • Full-time Area Manager (37,5 hours a week to cover a Maternity leave – 6 months with possibility of extension).We are looking for someone enthusiastic, who would be able to work along with the Operation Managers to make sure the venue runs at a high standard.

The positions are open to highly motivated self-starters, who are a team player and reliable. Your primary responsibilities will be the successful implementation of gymnastics programs for children age from 5 to 14 years old at the recreational level and class supervision.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Prior coaching experience – at least 2 years.
  • Enthusiastic, dependable, positive and eager to learn.
  • Good knowledge and/or experience of gymnastics.
  • Great communication skills with children and adults.
  • Ability to work well with any age from early walkers to adults.
  • Ability to demonstrate good leadership skills.
  • Ability to control the implementation of the lesson plans and to be able to adjust as needed.
  • Preparation/Organisation of events/show days to children and parents.
  • Develop positive relationships with gymnasts, and provides motivational support and guidance.
  • Must be able to lift equipment and spot gymnasts.
  • Working days are flexible (depending on venue needs) from Monday-Sunday (from 10am to 10pm) – to be confirmed.
  • Promotion of the venue: Flyers campaigns, in-school demos, school tours, parties, etc.
  • Staffing management – covers, allocation, problem solving, etc.
  • Location: Greenhills.

  • This appointment is subject Garda vetting

Other information:

We will also provide in-house training/mentoring for candidates to quickly learn how to run clubs by getting exposure to other aspects of the business. Salary expectations to be discussed in person. Contract extension is a possibility. Applications deadline by Sunday, 4th August at 9pm.
